Review: Losing Eva

Losing Eva Losing Eva by Jennifer Sivec
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

***** April's 5 Star Review ***** 5 Dreams and Screams

Tragedy often seeks us out at the very moment we least expect it.

Brynn and Adam Michaels are rebuilding their lives after Brynn's painful and cruel past threatened to tear them apart. Just when Brynn lets her guard down and imagines that she and Adam can have a happy life, a stranger arrives, threatening everything.

And when the one thing holding them together is ripped cruelly from their lives, they are irreparably changed, their fragile life together, teetering dangerously on the edge.

Losing Eva is the deeply complex, emotional sequel to Leaving Eva, and the second novel in the Eva Series. Caution: Eva’s story contains graphic violence, strong language, drug abuse, domestic abuse, and child abuse.

Losing Eva was such an emotional and touching story. The writing, the characters and the storyline was great and the author did a great job with it This wasn't an easy book to read. This is a compelling story full of emotions you would have to be crazy not to feel. Eva/Brynn's story will pull at your heart and have you wanting to not only support her and love her. My feelings for Adam is like a love/hate feeling. He's hurt just as Brynn and he takes the wrong kind of outlet in letting it out. Ellie....well those words aren't allowed here. But what I didn’t think would happen would be me wanting Eva and Noah together. I never expected for this book to end the way it did. Talk about jaw dropping and I can't wait to see what the author has planned for the next book. Losing Eva is one of the most I have had read.
