Review: The Seer's Daughter

The Seer's Daughter The Seer's Daughter by Athena Daniels

Crystal's 5 Star Review
I was given a copy for an honest review. Sage returns to her hometown after getting the news that her beloved Gran has been murdered. She's been gone a long time, but not long enough for some of the residents. You see, Sage was bullied as a child for being different. She couldn't understand and thought that everyone had the same gifts as she. Want to know that her gifts are? Read the book.

There's a serial killer on the loose and Gran is just one of his victims. Now that she's alone, strange things are happening in both her Gran's house and her shop downstairs. Unexplainable things, such as footsteps, slamming doors, doors locking by themselves, doors unlocking by themselves, you get the idea.

Nan's friends know what's going on but swore to her that they wouldn't tell Sage, even though most of the group thinks she deserves to know.

Detective Sergeant Ethan Blade is assigned the serial killer case. It's his mission to solve it before the killer strikes again. Once he meets Sage though, his mission changes, he adds to it protecting Sage at all costs.

Do you love demons and witches? What about great writing with characters so real that it seems like they could pop right out of your favorite device? If you say yes, I highly recommend reading this series. I gobbled the first one up and am now knee deep in the second one called The Alchemist's Son.
